The Ladybird places an   emphasis on ensuring that all members of  staff receive appropriate child care training. We have always had a policy of using a high proportion of trained staff .

The majority of our staff are either NNEB or NVQ equivalent trained in child care and education. Others are in the process of training.

We also provide our own  training for  the staff team as this way we ensure continuity for the children and familiarity for the parents

– We ensure that  staff receive the accredited  paediatric  first aid training  in order to deal with any emergency.


Vacancy 1

We are looking to recruit a Full time Room Leader for approx 9-12 months maternity cover of approx. 41 ¼ hours a week.

Flexible between 7:30 and 6:30 Monday to Friday.

Offer of employment is subject to an enhanced DBS.

Designated duties include:

Ensuring the day to day operation of the nursery is kept to a high standard. To ensure all legislation in relation to registration with regulatory bodies, special needs, child protection and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to. To monitor and manage staff, continually improve practice and support the nursery team.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.

Knowledge of the EYFS


Vacancy 2

We are looking to recruit a Part Time Nursery Practitioner who will be committed to delivering good quality childcare, this position is for a 1:1 post for a child with additional needs and will require attending specialist training.

The ideal candidate must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 equivalent in childcare .

The practitioner  need to  have a good knowledge of the EYFS, good communication skills and a positive attitude.
